Times Square Laser Spa

First off. I paid for 1 year unlimited for my entire back. Upon arriving, they made me pay for shoulders to go any higher than my shoulder blade. Did an entire year of sessions and my and noticed a 25% reduction. It was a waste of time going to this place. The “nurse” literally did my entire back and shoulders in less than 10 minutes. Others. Have told me this should have taken a minimum of 30 minutes per session. Do not waste your money here. Also, the office is a hole in the wall

Unfortunately just completed my year of unlimited laser on two areas (purchased through Groupon) and have not noticed a difference at all. This is the first time with laser that I haven't noticed any type of change, so I'm pretty disappointed. They used a different technology than what I have used at other places, so I wonder if that's why. I don't know enough about it to know what the difference is, but it was definitely not the same. This machine blew cold air while it zapped and generally smelled like burning which wasn't great. Regarding the office itself, the doorman downstairs is pretty much always rude and the space never quite felt clean. I have been to laser "spas" that quite literally feel like spas - this felt like what was meant to be an office. There was only one treatment room, which you could hear everything from while in the waiting room. This made it slightly uncomfortable. The receptionist was extremely friendly and accommodating - over the course of the year there were a few times where I needed to schedule an appointment day of or push back a little if I was running late and they never gave me a hard time which I really appreciated. The technician however was not as nice. I'm not sure if it was a language barrier, but came off as extremely rude. She often strolled in on her phone and would only look up after an uncomfortably long pause. I also pointed out at one point that I had noticed MORE hair growth instead of less, and she snapped at me that laser doesn't make hair grow so it's not her fault. I was in no way trying to come off as blaming, but if you can't bring up concerns or questions to your technician....something's up. Her aggression made me not want to come back, but having started my treatment I wouldn't have been able to get a refund from Groupon, so I continued. However, the last time I came (before the year was up), I actually had burn marks all over my skin from the treatment which has never happened to me with laser before. This was more than enough to dissuade me from purchasing an additional package to see if it eventually started to work.

They are sooooooooooo unprofessionally that you cant even imagine. The technician tells me she is a nurse and knows better than a customer. I payed for the year and I decided to waste my money and not to go back. She is so horrible that would not care if you are comfortable or not she would scan you and throw you out in 1 minuets. I have done laser before but never do a unprofessional place like this before. Trust me never ever go to this place even if they give a free service because they have no manners at all.

Possibly the worst place to get laser done . By all means "STAY AWAY". I've been coming here for a year just to finish my session and I'm done with this place . I'm never coming back. The technician is so unprofessional , a couple times she was on her phone while treating. By your fourth appointment she quickly scans through your treatment area so she misses certain areas and she expects you to give her a tip for her horrible service. They tend to always over book so your waiting close to an hour from your appt. time to be treated.

This is possibly one of the most unprofessional places I've ever been and I'm in the process of trying to get at least half my money back so I can continue treatment elsewhere. Yesterday was the first time out of 4 that I've gone prior to my appt time and not had to wait. I have waited a solid 45 minutes for my appt before because they overbook a lot. It's usually first come first serve regardless of your appt time. I'm usually very annoyed by this. The technician is also usually VERY unprofessional. This place consists of a waiting area with a few seats, and the owners desk and a door to the laser room next to that. I usually have an issue with the technician because she tends to walk in and out of the room... mind you, I'm pretty much naked for treatment. I've told her she can't do that to me, but it hasn't changed. Yesterday after treatment she just told me to stand behind the door so she could walk out since the owner wasn't in the waiting area. My issue, and any female reading this should understand where I'm coming from, is that when I took off my dress, she watched me and then said: "I see you're putting on weight for summer." I said, "excuse me?" And she goes, "everyone eats too much in the summer and gains weight...." Truthfully, I don't want to go back and finish my treatment with this woman. If there's a way to get a refund or a partial refund, I would buy another set of removal from another, more professional company because that was the final straw. You can't say something like that... it's NOT right. Save yourself of the hassle of getting through Times Square too. The area is just too horrible to get through the tourists in the few blocks from the NQR to the office building this place is in.
