Dr. Saclolo was my doctor for about 7 years and I regret having him as my doctor. He failed to diagnose an obvious health problem that any doctor should have. This caused me great pain and has cost me a huge amount of time and impacted the quality of my life in terrible ways. I'd sue him for medical malpractice but there's no real evidence. However the doctor I had after him who correctly diagnosed the problem and who'd shared an office with him for a while, agreed that he is completely incompetent. I gave him one star only because the review wouldn't post without a star...I'd like to take away all his stars for good. He's a monster and should understand consequences of being one. Though it's difficult to second guess his motivations: I believe he withheld information about my health. At the worst his misdiagnosis was motivated by greed or malice, Best case is he's simply massively incompetent. He was very nice to chat with though. But a doctor isn't a "friend who likes to schmooze". As an adult I expect my doctor to attend to my health and also keep me 100% informed about all my health care options. The result of his medical care has been a horrible experience. I'm lucky he didn't "decide" anything else about me. I'm 60 years old now and this health problem has now wasted about 3 (difficult and painful) years of my life because it went ignored. Really in my opinion he shouldn't be a doctor. A very atrocity.. / UPDATE; Years later I'm still treating the health issue he failed to see. If he'd seen it/diagnosed it/treated it, I'd have been spared about 10 years of crippling pain and suffering. He is an actual monster. His care ruined my life. I would not be the least bit surprised if the favorable reviews were written by his staff.

Nov 24, 2016 · Scott CousinsI normally try not to leave negative reviews as I don’t feel like it’s worth it to spread negative energy but in an effort to help prevent other people from wasting their time and money i’m choosing to post about my extremely negative experience. I visited the office month because of digestive issues I had been experiencing for a month. I went into the office asking for h pylori testing as I’ve had it previously. My blood was taken on the 5th. Had to wait a full week for a follow up. Was given little guidance on how to alleviate symptoms. Instructed me to follow a bland diet. When i asked what foods he said mashed potatoes, plain rice, bread (even though i specifically told him I do not eat wheat (and he was testing me for celiac!) and, mashed potatoes...... again. He suggested the “BRAT diet” which as he explains was Bananas Apples Rice and TEA! The “t” in the BRAT diet stands for toast, which again, i do not consume. Finally my “follow up” or consult or whatever I’m going to be charged for came. I arrived at 11 am for an 11:30 apt. The nurse took me in at 1115 to conduct “metabolic testing” for my resting metabolic rate, EKG, etc. we finished at 11:32. I then sat for almost 40 minutes waiting for the doctor. Once in the room he couldn’t find my bloodwork in a pile for paper for 5 minutes. He then confirmed h pylori and asked “how I got it”. I told him I work in a gym and suggested I picked it up there to which he responded with “WERE YOU KISSING EVERYONE IN THE GYM?” Next up he told me my body fat percentage was 31% which is about 10% higher than it actually is. (I’m 5’7” 155# was a national level bikini competitor) He explained what my metabolic rate was and I told him I am a Dietitian and was familiar. He then asked me “IF YOURE A DIETITIAN, WHAT HAPPENED...31%????” Next I asked him to interpret my estrogen levels as my energy had been up and down. He told me he “didnt know” because I didn’t know what part of my cycle I was in because I DONT GET MY PERIOD (since starting an IUD). Didn’t give me a suggestion of a specialist or way to address my hormones. Merely skipped over it. I left the office in shock and ended up in tears reflecting on how ashamed and embarrassed a doctor made me feel. As a health care provider, I was truly disgusted with the care I received and wish there was some way to avoid having to pay for the worst patient experience of my life. This doctor was the prime example of an ignorant old school doctor that lacks the ability to sympathize with patients. I can’t even imagine how he’d speak to someone in a larger body and with more serious medical conditions. Mortified.
