Feb 08, 2025 · Allen JGarden Retreat is amazingly consistent for their high quality massage even over all of these years. I wish I had time to go every week! I've been to Garden Retreat a few times and the massage is always great. The masseuses are attractive and friendly and I've never been disappointed with the quality and consistency of the service. The facilities are clean and comfortable. There are real sheets on the massage tables that are always fresh and ironed. I like the fact that they manage the locker room carefully so I didn't have to share it with guys I didn't know. It is a very well run place. $80 for one hour and I usually tip $60.
Jul 26, 2022 · Ted WI would not recommend this place. The service provider pushed her elbow into my shoulder bone, and when I told her that it hurts she giggled. Also, I was told in the beginning of the service what the price would be plus tip. This is sooo tacky. This is offensive behavior, especially to start the service. I'm not sure this is a "regular" massage place.

Facilities are clean too. My only issue is that it can get crowded, the last time I was there I finished up and some loudmouth was in the lobby making phone calls as I tried to settle up and leave a tip. Another masseuse was charging down the hall trying to get a younger client to verify his age. It's not relaxing at all so once they get their traffic in order (i think it's more popular than ever) it's a five star experience.

Tips are at the discretion of the customer for exemplary service, and it’s terribly rude and condescending to comment on a tip in front of the customer - especially after asking for cash and upcharging credit card fees. Also as is the case with nail salons… you never know what languages your customers can understand… Maybe pay your workers a living wage instead of blaming the guests. Good way to ruin a relaxing massage
